People do it all the time. We go to church on Sundays and live like heathens on the other six days of the week. Who do we think we’re fooling? Not God, that’s for sure!

It’s like eating a perfectly good meal that is wrapped up in plastic. We might feel full for awhile, but we get absolutely no nourishment out of it. 

No, we must learn from the Scripture and put its precepts into practice. Otherwise we are just fooling ourselves.
