Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

We had such a good time in Vacation Bible School this year. We were “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.”
It was so precious to see preschoolers and elementary school aged children learning about the love of Jesus. And it was equally amazing watching the middle and high school students taking such a valuable lead in the whole process.
This proverb was one of the first I can remember learning as a child. It rings true today as I reflect on our VBS. The children of yesterday are leading the children of today. And soon they will be the adult leaders of tomorrow. And what a fine group of young adults they will be.
Lord, thank you for blessing us with such a good week at church. These children are so precious. I pray that the fire you have placed in us will refine us and prepare us to be your good servants.
