When You Struggle,
Jesus Rescues
Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
It’s a tug of war, isn’t it? Life. Just when we feel like we are gaining traction and moving the flag in our direction, we get thrown off balance and take a step or two toward the opponent.
God never promises to take away the struggle. Only when we get to heaven will be able to claim that victory. But he does promise us many things.
- He will be with us always. Matthew 28:20
- He cares for us and doesn’t want us to worry. Philippians 4:6-7
- He will always provide us with the things we need. Luke 12:27-31
- He is God (and we are not). Psalm 46:10
Be still. Take a deep breath. Take in His love and the power of His Holy Spirit. Trust Him. And help these precious children tonight recognize God in their lives.
