Focus this week on 

SALVATION

For all have sinned 

and fall short 

of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23 NIV

I don’t care what anybody says, no matter how much we try, we will never be good enough to earn a place in heaven. We can never say all the right things, do all the right rituals, give enough to the poor, or in any way chalk up brownie points so that God will let us in. 

This is not to discourage us from seeking a place in heaven. To the contrary, it is to encourage us to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our place in heaven is a free gift from Him that we can only have if we believe He is the Son of God, if we believe that He died on the cross to wipe away our sin, and if we ask him to take up residence in our lives. 

Focus this week on Salvation. Share the good news of it with people God allows to cross your path.
