Do you make protein shakes in a shaker bottle? Do you ever get big blobs of powder stuck on the bottom edges?
I prefer to mix mine in a blender with lots of ice. But sometimes I take the ingredients to work and make a shake for lunch.
Here is a little trick I use to mix powders in liquid. See what you think.
Start with your dry ingredients in your shaker. Jostle it a bit to be sure it's not too firmly settled.
Add your liquid -- in this case almond milk. But don't shake quite yet.
Turn your shaker over. Notice how the powder stayed put.
Tap the lid to make the powder drop down into the liquid.
Shake to your heart's content and enjoy a nicely mixed shake.
(Of course you could always take your liquid to work in your shaker bottle and just add the dry ingredients to it. Then shake. But that's not as much fun!)
This is so simple but it works every time. Let me know what you think.
