How would you describe yourself?

"If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?"

Someone asked me this question yesterday and this is what I said:

• I'm a good friend.
• I'm a hard worker.
• I'm committed to my relationship with the Lord.

Now, granted, those are not exactly three words. But that was my answer.

As I have had more time to contemplate the question, I have come to the conclusion that I am all of those things and none of them. It is Christ in me who makes me friendly. It is God's integrity that creates a shapes my work ethic. And although my relationship with Him is never what it should be, I am His and He loves me more than I can possibly fathom. 

Without Him I could do nothing.
Without Him I'd surely fail.
Without Him I would be drifting like a ship without a sail.

Thank you Lord, for loving me in spite of myself. Thank you for making me into the woman I am. And I look forward to what else you have in store for me.
