Tomorrow marks the beginning of Advent, the season of expectation preceding Christmas. And once again this year I will be posting a daily devotional guide written by my sweet mother, Patience Nave.
This particular devotional was entitled, “The Light of the World,” and was written in 2008 while mother lived in Florida. She was the Christian Education Coordinator at the Homosassa United Methodist Church at the time and wrote this for her dear friends.
My prayer is that many more people will benefit from mother’s writings this year via my blog and that through it we will be well-prepared to celebrate the birthday of our Lord.
