This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.
Luke 1:69

And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God.

John 1:2
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Isaiah 9:6-7
Did you know that your baby boy is Heavens perfect Lamb?

And this sleeping child you're holding is the Great I Am.
Exodus 3:14, John 8:58

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time. It so eloquently captures many of the prophecies from the Old Testament that came to fruition in our Lord. If you’ve never heard this song, I’ve provided a link to it. Close your eyes and enjoy its simplicity. Savor its rich harmony. Contemplate its complexity.

Lord, help us to praise you for all that you are.
